I'm sick with grief over the attack on a grade school in Russia. But I have had second thoughts about my original post.Call me a cowardly blogger. I'm sleep deprived. I need to sleep on this post.

As to "Having children makes you stupid" (Somehow this doesn't surprise me), I think you've been hoaxed.
Although, you were citing such an esteemed source as "The Hoosier Gazette" the story immediately alerted my BS detector.
After looking at the Kinsey Institute's web site: http://www.indiana.edu/~kinsey/ I could see no research paper even remotely close to the one referred to in THG.
Then it occurred to me, the research paper was not named, neither were the scientists. All in all it has got to be bogus.
How about some Editorial Gold points for that?

Yeah, turns out it is a hoax. Lesson: don't believe everything you read, especially on the Internet. No points. We don't bother with editorial integrity. That's a separate question from typos and spelling mistakes.

Hold the electrons! It turns out the IQ report is true. It was authored by a Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his grad student Beaker at MIT (Muppet Internet Tales).
