NY Fundraising Event, The Arctic National Wildlife Reserve
My friend Nick Aster writes to inform me of this:
Join us Tuesday, August 2, 2005 from 6:30 to 8:30 pm for a cocktail party at Glass Lounge at 287 Tenth Avenue between 26th and 27th streets.
Your donation will support the critical efforts of the "Treasure America" Project Team to show how not drilling in the Arctic Refuge stimulates economic development in the US and preserves the last pristine piece of the American Arctic.
The event will include a short multimedia presentation from 7:15 – 7:30 pm showing unreleased documentary video footage from the Refuge.
